Sea To Summit Talus 3 TSIII Down Sleeping Bag - Relaxed Mummy, Ultra-Dry Down, -17 C rated
Having many of the same features found in more expensive sleeping bags the Talus TsIII is an excellent value, lightweight, all season bag ideally suited to hiking, trekking, snow camping and basecamp use. It's design is based around Sea to Summit's relaxed mummy shape which provides extra space across the chest and shoulders while still remaining highly thermally efficient. The differential cut shell and 3D side walled baffles allow the down to loft right up to the seams, eliminating cold spots. Clever distribution of the fill, 60% going in the top of the bag and 40% in the base optimises the effectiveness of the available down. While the shaped hood, anatomical boxfoot, neck baffle and snag free, zip draft tube all help to retain heat within the bag. The outer is constructed from Sea to Summit's 2D NanoShell fabric which is windproof, water resistant and highly breathable. The down is a premium 750+ Loft, water resistant, Ultra-Dry Down offering excellent warmth for weight.

Relaxed Mummy Shape:
Sea to Summit's Relaxed Mummy design provides excellent warmth for it's weight. It is sized generously across the shoulders and chest and has a large hood to provide increased comfort and room to move while still retaining a high level of thermal efficiency.
Ultra-Dry Down has a water repellent treatment protecting the down from moisture and condensation. The water repellent polymer treatment vastly improves the downs water repellency without effecting it's weight or loft performance. Ultra-Dry Down retains over 60% more loft and absorbs 30% less moisture when compared with untreated down. This not only helps insulate better in wet conditions but means Ultra-Dry Down bags dry much quicker too. The treatment also stops bacterial and microbial growth, making the bags more hygienic and giving them a longer life span.
2D NanoShell is the lightest, most breathable water resistant shell fabric in Sea to Summit's range. The Nano DWR treatment is highly durable due to the tiny particle size of the repellent allowing a greater quantity of particles to attach to the fabric fibres and adhere better than larger particles. The treatment has been designed to optimise breathability while providing a windproof and water repellent shell protecting the down from external moisture.
