Sea To Summit Micro 2 McII Down Sleeping Bag Regular - Ultra-Dry Down, 2 C rated
The McII Micro Series sleeping bag is a lightweight versatile bag suitable for a range of activities where weight and pack size really matter. The bag is a contoured mummy shape providing excellent thermal efficiency. The foot end of the bag is drawcorded and there is a full length YKK zip, this allows the bag to be opened up fully as a duvet in warmer conditions or converted back to the more body hugging box foot mummy style when the temperature drops. The outer of the bag is Sea to Summit's 2D NanoShell, a lightweight, breathable, water resistant and windproof fabric. The fill is a premium quality water resistant 850+ Loft Ultra-Dry Down which provides fantastic warmth for it's weight. To keep the weight of the bag down and to optimise the down placement the bag has been put together using a quilted baffle construction, with the down distributed 55% on top and 45% in the base. The lining is a soft, breathable and downproof fabric for comfort.

Box Quilted Mummy Convertible
The quilted construction ensures that the down remains evenly distributed across the sleeping bag. Unlike regular quilting that uses a sewn through construction, Sea to Summit's quilted baffle construction uses lightweight 3 dimensional baffles which eliminate cold spots. The bag is a technical, thermally efficient mummy shape when fastened up but the full length zip and drawcorded foot end allow the bag to be opened up into a duvet in milder conditions.
Ultra-Dry Down has a water repellent treatment protecting the down from moisture and condensation. The water repellent polymer treatment vastly improves the downs water repellency without effecting it's weight or loft performance. Ultra-Dry Down retains over 60% more loft and absorbs 30% less moisture when compared with untreated down. This not only helps insulate better in wet conditions but means Ultra-Dry Down bags dry much quicker too. The treatment also stops bacterial and microbial growth, making the bags more hygenic and giving them a longer life span.
2D NanoShell is the lightest, most breathable water resistant shell fabric in Sea to Summit's range. The Nano DWR treatment is highly durable due to the tiny particle size of the repellent allowing a greater quantity of particles to attach to the fabric fibres and adhere better than larger particles. The treatment has been designed to optimise breathability while providing a windproof and water repellent shell protecting the down from external moisture.
