Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Sleeping Mat

Sea to Summit sleeping mats provide exceptional comfort due to their Air Sprung Cell design. Instead of using baffles like many other mats Sea to Summit use dot welds to create a high surface area matrix of interconnected chambers. This design allows the mattress to work in the same way as pocket sprung mattresses. Each cell is able to deform independently allowing the mat to more accurately conform to your body shape for superior comfort with a softer feel and fewer pressure points

The Comfort Mat Plus is constructed of two layers of offset, smaller sized (High Resolution) Air Sprung Cells. The dual layer design provides an excellent method for adjusting the mats firmness and comfort level while the offset nature of the cells creates a more uniform  level of cushioning and insulation across the mat. The two layers are inflated independently meaning the bottom layer can be inflated firmly to protect from rough ground while the top layer's pressure can be fine tuned to suit your preferred firmness level.

The Comfort Mat Plus features Sea to Summit's Multi-function Valve which can be used for easy inflation, pressure adjustment and rapid deflation. This design means there's no need for multiple bulky valves.

The Comfort Light is constructed from a 40D Nylon face fabric with a TPU lamination on the inside making it airtight and weldable. The fabric offers an excellent balance between weight and durability. To the outside of the face fabric they apply a thin coating to make the surface a little more grippy, increase puncture strength and make it easier to repair with self-adhesive patches

The lamination process between face fabric and the TPU layer is known as extrusion TPU lamination and is used for medical and aeronautical applications. Compared to roll-to-roll lamination, used in all other outdoor products at present, extrusion TPU lamination is more consistent and durable.

The TPU used in Sea to Summit Mats has an anti-microbial treatment to prevent mould or fungal growth in the mattress making it possible to inflate these mats with your breath.
