An ultralight, spacious shelter in a quick setup design, featuring Exped‘s innovative, Zipfree door (patent pending).
Zipfree door:The ingenious system seen from the inside: Open the quick release buckle and pull on the cord to raise the door like an awning. No zipper that snags or admits water and no additional weight. Ingenious flat pole sleeve improves aerodynamics in wind and rain. Double seams and stitching offer extreme strength. Accessory bag: Poles, tent pegs and spares pack into three separate compartments of the accessory bag. This ensures that pole and spares stay clean and away from the muddy pegs. The accessory bag can be used as compression roller when folding the bundle into the packsack Versatility: all Exped tents allow the components (canopy and rainfly) to be used separately. As an example you can combine Vela I‘s fly with an Exped DownMat and a sleeping bag when going light. Use the canopy alone or covered with an Exped Tarp.
